AppTV launched on May 26, 2015 with a full range of original programming, utilizing the production skills of Appalachian State students. The channel also features programs from NASA TV, Classic Arts Showcase, the National Science Foundation, and other sources. Our original and acquired programming is telecast on Charter Cable channel 198 in Watauga and Avery counties, North Carolina, and Johnson County, Tennessee, and channel 23.3 on App State’s campus.
